Abu Dhabi has established itself as a major metropolis that attracts the very best from around the world, whether it's a Michelin-starred restaurant or the oldest university. But the latest news is a two-in-one deal: the capital will host the premium restaurant Le Cordon Bleu and its namesake culinary institute. The new attraction will be located on Saadiyat Island as part of the Grove Museum Views project. But let's take it step by step.

Open to the world

The Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Le Cordon Bleu, has signed an agreement to open the first culinary institute and restaurant within the residential complex Grove Museum Views, located on Saadiyat Island. This location already boasts many tourist attractions in the form of unique museums and the best beaches. But now the demand for residences in Grove Museum Views will increase – after all, among the ultra-rich, there are many fans of the Le Cordon Bleu brand.

What awaits students

The campus will welcome local and international students. The educational program and list of courses are standard with one exception. In Abu Dhabi, Le Cordon Bleu will develop specialization in sustainable development at sea and food security.

Napoleonic plans

The news of the culinary institute's opening is a logical continuation of a recent initiative – the creation of the Culinary Investment Fund in Abu Dhabi with a total amount of $98 million. Its task is to attract leading gastronomic brands to the capital within 5 years and accelerate Abu Dhabi's development as a rapidly growing culinary center.
